[As promised, Seifer kept his dorm room front door unlocked. He sat in the small kitchen and, as he mentioned before, he was studying. Books laid out and one glance at the table would make it obvious he's studying with all the note-taking he's doing. Huh, who knew he could be studious if he really wanted to be. He hit the send button to send one last message to Zell before putting his phone down taking the last bit of notes he wanted to remember for the exam tomorrow. He figured he could look these over in the morning before the exam itself. This was easy street anyway so Seifer was confident he'd pass it.

He then looked at the front door and give it a squinty-eyed look for a moment. He shook his head before he said in a normal tone of voice.]

I told you the door's unlocked. Open it. Don't make me call you chicken wuss.

[And with that, he grinned. He figured he'd get Zell's attention that way.]

I mean we could make it a competition but who is to say who goes first. It's not exactly easy to throw a water balloon at him without getting caught AND get proof of it.

Paint balls might work. But we'd need proper armaments for them. Shit, who even cares who goes first. As long as we make puberty boy's life hell, that's all I care about.

Alright. Commencing Operation Paintball Puberty Boy starting at twenty hundred hours tomorrow night. I'll need to procure paintballs and a gun for it at Balamb Town.

Hyne's Hells, what kind of monster is over there that really needs your attention? A day's drive out sounds like Timber to the west and Trabia to the north. If Galbadia's army or Trabia Garden's SeeDs aren't taking care of that, that means you guys were personally requested.

It probably came in because Squall is our Commander now and he saved the world. We’ve gotten a lot more missions since.

I know and I get that. What I'm saying is I can't account for every possibility. I MIGHT get hurt. To that end, you'd better not get your ass hurt, either. What you're doing is potentially far more dangerous than just training.

So the world is becoming more dependent on him. That's great. Only not. Pretty soon, he's gonna start growing grey hairs and I'll have to call him Old Man.

Yes. He's going to have grey hairs because of all the stress and responsibility of someone who should be a veteran at this shit. Instead, it was just kind of thrust at him. At seventeen years old. He's not going to have a life. Not anymore.

That's exactly what I mean. Shouldn't the Headmaster find a replacement or some shit? Or how about letting someone like Xu do it since she's been a SeeD a helluva lot longer?

By the by, has this thing always been here at the Fire Cavern? That thing looks fucking gigantic.

So Scan brings up that it's a Behemoth but I don't remember them looking like this! I wonder if it's a GF. If it is, I want it.

I also don't have a death wish. When you get back, come with me to go get this. I'm heading back to campus and practicing at the Training Center instead. The bombs here are too easy.

Any news on what the monster is that you'll need to vanquish?
