Late Night Visit
Open to

[A continuation of this long text message convo.]
[As promised, Seifer kept his dorm room front door unlocked. He sat in the small kitchen and, as he mentioned before, he was studying. Books laid out and one glance at the table would make it obvious he's studying with all the note-taking he's doing. Huh, who knew he could be studious if he really wanted to be. He hit the send button to send one last message to Zell before putting his phone down taking the last bit of notes he wanted to remember for the exam tomorrow. He figured he could look these over in the morning before the exam itself. This was easy street anyway so Seifer was confident he'd pass it.
He then looked at the front door and give it a squinty-eyed look for a moment. He shook his head before he said in a normal tone of voice.]
I told you the door's unlocked. Open it. Don't make me call you chicken wuss.
[And with that, he grinned. He figured he'd get Zell's attention that way.]

And I’m sorry for the mess.
[Zell’s apartment was bigger than Seifer’s but it was indeed a mess. Not only was it very Zell but it had been a while since he cleaned up his own space.]
no subject
Don't even worry about it. The only reason why my room's tidier in comparison is because I'm not there most of the time. [He continued to push Zell inside.] Well, where do you want me to set you down at? If you can walk alright, I'm sure the hospital will be wanting this back.
no subject
The couch I think is the place I am going to be living for the next two days.
no subject
You sure? Knowing you, you're gonna be restless at some point and you're gonna wanna move around. At least a little bit. Still, no strenuous activity for two days.
[Then, Seifer moved on over to the couch, clearing whatever clutter was there and just placed it.... somewhere for now. If Zell was there, he'd of course sit next to him.]
Well, what do you want right now? Something to eat? Drink?
no subject
I’m fine. I’m happy to be out of the hospital wing. You can relax Seifer.
no subject
You know, I'd ask how I got roped into this but... [Then a shrug.] Right place at the right time, huh? Tsk tsk. Can't believe you. Roping me into this. [Of course, Seifer was joking.]
What else do I need to know besides not letting you do anything dumb? I mean strenuous? Do you have meds you gotta take?
no subject
You sent me a cruel picture of the cafeteria sign saying they are out of hot dogs. That is how you got roped in.
[Zell pointed to the bag of stuff the hospital had given him which was on his coffee table now.] Pretty sure I have to take something in there.
no subject
Hey now, I told you why I sent you that. It was to spare you the heartbreak of finding them to be out of it for the next day.
[Once Zell pointed towards the bag of stuff, Seifer looked it over and considered having the other blond go through it. He then decided against it for now.]
Did they tell you when you needed to take it? [With a free hand, Seifer grabbed for his phone.] It's half-past seven.
no subject
[Zell closed his eyes and just relaxed even further against Seifer. He was glad the older male was there and that Seifer clearly felt the same as he did. That thought made Zell smile a little.]
It's just painkillers and they want me to take them three times a day. I doubt I will follow those instructions. They make me sleepy.
no subject
[Seifer lightly snickered before looking over that bag again, then reverted his gaze back to Zell.]
That's sort of the point of painkillers. If they make you sleepy, that means it's working. I'm lucky enough to have a resistance to their side effects. At least try to follow the directions tomorrow, yeah? If you're only supposed to be on absolute rest for two days and you have left over, you probably only need to take it when you're in actual pain.

Who knew the great Seifer Almasy was such a mother hen. [Zell poked Seifer’s side, teasing him a little, as he stayed snuggled against the older male’s side.]
no subject
Hey, don't get used to this. This is usually Fujin's job, even if she only speaks in one-word sentences. [There was a very brief pause.] Most of the time, anyway.

Besides, I'd rather kiss you in places like your lips. Maybe your neck. Maybe your damned six-pack on your stomach.

I hope the puberty boy gives credit where credit is due. [Once more, Seifer reached under Zell's shirt. Not really to feel his abs this time but only to see how he'd react.]
no subject
I might get to name the creature.
no subject
Well, I guess most people don't really think about that kind of stuff. I mean I sure as hell didn't, especially back then.
But that's a hell of an accomplishment. Damned cartographers and bestiary-keepers and hells, even Timber Maniac journalists are gonna wanna speak to you at some point about this shit. Don't they give accolades to this kind of thing?
no subject
It isn’t that big of a deal. Squall will probably handle all of the questions.
no subject
[At this point, Seifer was just nonchalantly letting his fingers glide throughout Zell's stomach. At which point, he did feel Zell got a little bit heavier on him but he took this as the other blond getting more and more relaxed so he didn't mind at all.]
Besides, how is Squall going to answer any of them outside of bullshit bureaucratic answers? [Then Seifer tries to imitate Squall. Terribly.] "I don't know." "Yes." "No." "Maybe." "Possibly." "We won't know for certain."
no subject
Those answers would probably work. [There was a small grin on Zell’s face.] but I guess you are right. They will want to talk to me.
